Dazed and happy at his success Daniel said “This is brilliant , I’m over the moon”. Daniel further went on to pay tribute to his work colleagues and in particular the inspiration from Denis Toone the tool room manager whom one day he hopes to replace when Denis retires. Daniel began his pre-apprenticeship program in April 2013 and after showing a strong work ethic was offered a full-time apprenticeship in September 2013, he quickly became part of the team and worked hard to complete his NVQ and Technical certificate, so competent was Daniel he even helped other learners by sharing his knowledge. The staff at PAL Group have spent a great deal of time mentoring Daniel in a very complex industry his confidence has grown and not content with encouraging his own girlfriend to join, Daniel has become an ambassador for apprenticeships and has been involved in several media campaigns, including meeting the Duke of York. “Well done and keep up the good work Daniel”.
